We would like to send out a huge thank you to our hosts for Racing for SIDS which took place January 11, 2008:

The event was a huge success and a fun time was enjoyed by all.
The Mouse Races raised $11,000 for SIDS Resources! The proceeds will be used to make a video on safe sleep.
We are grateful to the Terrells and the Freedlines for their hard work, generosity, and commitment to safe sleep education.

The Journey is Conquered One Step at a Time
Join us Saturday, May 31, at Forest Park (upper Muny lot) for a 5k-run/1-mile fun walk to benefit the programs and services of SIDS Resources. Event times:
- 7:00 a.m.: Registration
- 8:00 a.m.: Memorial Balloon Release
- 8:30 a.m.: Race/Walk begins
- 9:15 a.m.: Awards
- 9:15 - 10:30 a.m.: Fun activities and food for kids and families

Saturday, May 3: MY BABY COMES FIRST!
Cox North (main entrance off N. Robberson Ave.), Springfield, Mo.
First Annual Healthy Baby Extravaganza for young women and their families: thinking of having a baby, currently pregnant, or with a baby under 6 months of age or less.
Come and learn to create a safe & healthy environment for your baby
Registration: 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Extravaganza - 10:00 - 3:00 p.m
Cost: No charge. Lunch provided free to those attending sessions/visiting booths
Prizes:
- Tons of gifts /door prizes for those attending
- Informative sessions and exhibit booths
- Items for mother and baby incliding a Grand Prize nursery set
Sessions will include information on:
- Safe Sleep for Your Baby
- Babyproofing Your Home
- Car Seat Safety
